The Caribou comes in shirt (with elastic casing hem) or dress length (with the dress hem sitting just above the knee). Both options feature an elegant high neckline and classic bishop sleeves. The front bodice can be one solid panel, or pieced with the potential to include a delicate ruffle in the seamline. Sleeve cuffs can be kept plain for a quick sew or add some loops and ties for a fun feature.

Recommended Fabrics:
MAIN FABRIC:
Mid to heavy weight knits with at least 50% stretch and good recovery as well as a bit of structure such as some bamboo or cotton lycras, french terries, sweater fleeces, etc.
Light weight knits such as some double brushed poly and lighter bamboo lycra blends may be used as long as the facings use a heavier/more structured knit to help maintain structure/integrity of the neckline.
TIES and RUFFLE:
These should be made with light weight knits or light wovens such as cotton or bamboo lycras, double brushed poly, rayon, double gauze, etc.

- Size 2-3: 3/4” elastic
- Size 4-6: 1” elastic
- Size 7-10: 1 1/4” elastic
