It's swimsuit season! (Or so I've heard.....we DID just get another dumping of snow earlier this week.) Last year we didn't actually have a new swim pattern and it felt a little weird so this year we decided to make two: The Minnow and the Pike! This pattern started off as an idea for a shirt, but quickly extended into a dress too so it could be a full outfit. The idea was to create something cozy but with a clean elegant look to it. The knit fabric and slightly loose fit provide the "cozy" while the high neckline, bishop sleeves and optional cuff details add to the elegance.
