The Miss Nickel is a medium-high rise, zipper-fly pant with a shorts option in 2 inseam lengths. Designed with a fitted waist and hip area widening out to a roomy leg with two choices of cargo pocket styles. The unique front pockets are placed in a horizontal design line. The Pocket Add-on (sold separately) gives an even larger variety of pockets that can be used to create a dressy pant or the more typical rugged, cargo style. Use the placement suggestions for the pockets as just that - a suggestion - and then create the pocket placements that you want. Optional hammer loop and belt loops in 2 widths are also included.

Fabrics: 

Bottomweight fabrics such as brushed twill, lightweight denim, or corduroy with 2-4% spandex content or 5-15% stretch for comfort fit and good recovery. Fabrics without spandex such as some linens can be used, but mechanical stretch will be necessary and the pattern may need to be sized up. Fabrics with a higher stretch % may need to be sized down.

Lining for pockets - light to midweight fabrics like quilting cotton or lining fabrics.

Lining for waistband - same fabric as main fabric OR same fabric as pocket lining.

Notions:

- Fusible interfacing for waistband, pocket flaps, and button/snap reinforcement.

- 5/8” snaps or buttons for waistband and cargo pockets

- 7-9” zipper for fly (A longer zipper may be necessary when making rise height adjustments.)
