The Spillgate Top & Dress is a breezy lightweight sewing pattern designed for style and warm weather comfort.
Choose from 3 length options. The top is a casual, easy-to-wear tank style perfect for layering. The knee length dress hits just above the knee for an everyday look and can be made as a simple A-line or with single tier piecing in the skirt. The midi dress falls below the knee for a relaxed, flowy silhouette and can be made with either one or two skirt tiers.
Delicate shoulder straps thread through back waist loops and tie in a bow, creating an adjustable fit and charming detail at the back. With no closures and a relaxed shape, Spillgate is a fantastic advanced beginner-friendly project and an ideal pattern for showcasing light to mid-weight fabrics.

Fabrics:
Light to mid-weight woven fabrics with some drape such as rayons, voiles, poplins, cotton lawn, cotton-sateens, etc. Quilting cottons with a softer touch may also be used.
